PM Toolkit is designed to be a privacy-first tool for product managers. We only collect anonymous usage analytics to understand which features are helpful and how we can improve the toolkit.

  • Personal Information: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information
  • Calculator Data:Your inputs, calculations, and results remain entirely in your browser's local storage
  • Business Information: No company names, financial data, or sensitive business metrics you enter
  • Tracking Cookies:We don't use cookies to track you across websites
  • Third-Party Sharing: We never sell, rent, or share any data with third parties

Anonymous Analytics We Collect

We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics to improve PM Toolkit. This helps us understand which features are useful without knowing who you are.

  • Usage Patterns: Which calculators are accessed (not the values you enter)
  • Navigation: How you move between pages and features
  • Technical Information: Browser type, screen size, and device type (mobile/desktop)
  • General Location: Country-level location from IP address (not precise location)
  • Feature Interactions: Button clicks and feature usage (anonymized)

Important:PostHog generates an anonymous ID stored in your browser's localStorage. This ID cannot be linked to you personally and is only used to understand usage patterns.

How We Use This Information

The anonymous analytics we collect help us:

  • Understand which calculators and features are most valuable to product managers
  • Identify and fix bugs or issues in the application
  • Improve performance and user experience
  • Prioritize new features and calculators to build
  • Ensure the toolkit works well across different devices and browsers

Your Data, Your Control

  • Local Storage:All calculator data is stored in your browser's localStorage. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings
  • No Account Required:Since we don't require registration, there's no personal data for us to store or for you to request deletion of
  • Browser Privacy:Use your browser's private/incognito mode to prevent any local storage or analytics
  • Ad Blockers: Most ad blockers will prevent PostHog analytics from loading, which we respect

  • All connections are encrypted with SSL/TLS
  • No sensitive data is transmitted to our servers
  • Regular security updates and dependency patches
  • Hosted on secure, reliable infrastructure

Legal Compliance
